### sec.187A Application Sections 187B to 187G apply if an investigator who is not a police officer seizes property under this part. If an investigator who is a police officer seizes property under this part— the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 , other than chapter 21 , part 3 , division 7 , applies as if the property were seized as evidence under that Act; and sections 187F and 187G of this Act apply to the property. s 187A ins 1999 No. 54 s 18 amd 2001 No. 39 s 3 sch ; 2002 No. 47 s 73 ; 2000 No. 5 s 810 sch 4 (amd 2006 No. 26 ss 84 , 86 ) (sec.187A-ssec.1) Sections 187B to 187G apply if an investigator who is not a police officer seizes property under this part.
