### sec.173NC Safe night precincts and local boards A regulation may prescribe an area (a safe night precinct ) that has a concentration of licensed premises to be a safe night precinct. Also, a regulation may prescribe an incorporated association (the local board ) to be the local board for a safe night precinct. There may be 1 local board, or no local board, for each safe night precinct. In recommending that the Governor in Council make the regulation, the Minister must be satisfied— the regulation is necessary to achieve the purposes of this part; and for prescribing an incorporated association to be the local board for a safe night precinct—the association has 1 or more members who are relevant licensees. s 173NC ins 2014 No. 42 s 75 (sec.173NC-ssec.1) A regulation may prescribe an area (a safe night precinct ) that has a concentration of licensed premises to be a safe night precinct.
