### sec.149 Employment on licensed premises A licensee must not, other than with the commissioner’s prior approval, knowingly permit to be employed on the licensee’s behalf on the licensed premises a person who, because of misconduct or bad character— has, under this Act or a corresponding previous enactment or under a corresponding law of another State or a Territory— had a licence, permit or other authority relating to the sale or supply of liquor cancelled; or been refused a licence, permit or other authority relating to the sale or supply of liquor; or for premises where adult entertainment is provided under an adult entertainment permit— has had an application for approval as a controller refused under section 142ZK ; or has had an approval as a controller cancelled under section 142ZV . Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. s 149 amd 2003 No. 60 ss 15 , 3 sch sub 2008 No. 48 s 53 amd 2012 No. 25 s 144 (1) sub 2013 No. 62 s 38 - (a) has, under this Act or a corresponding previous enactment or under a corresponding law of another State or a Territory— (i) had a licence, permit or other authority relating to the sale or supply of liquor cancelled; or (ii) been refused a licence, permit or other authority relating to the sale or supply of liquor; or - (i) had a licence, permit or other authority relating to the sale or supply of liquor cancelled; or - (ii) been refused a licence, permit or other authority relating to the sale or supply of liquor; or - (b) for premises where adult entertainment is provided under an adult entertainment permit— (i) has had an application for approval as a controller refused under section 142ZK ; or (ii) has had an approval as a controller cancelled under section 142ZV . - (i) has had an application for approval as a controller refused under section 142ZK ; or - (ii) has had an approval as a controller cancelled under section 142ZV . - (i) had a licence, permit or other authority relating to the sale or supply of liquor cancelled; or - (ii) been refused a licence, permit or other authority relating to the sale or supply of liquor; or - (i) has had an application for approval as a controller refused under section 142ZK ; or - (ii) has had an approval as a controller cancelled under section 142ZV .
