### sec.142ZO Police commissioner’s information report
This section applies if the commissioner asks the police commissioner for a police information report about a person under section 142ZJ or 142ZN .
The commissioner must give to the police commissioner particulars the commissioner considers relevant to the request.
On receiving the request, the police commissioner must—
make inquiries about the person’s criminal history, including whether the person is, or has been, the subject of a control order or registered corresponding control order;
make other inquiries about the person as the police commissioner considers appropriate.
The police commissioner must make a report about the person (a police information report ) to the commissioner after receiving the responses to the inquiries.
The police information report—
must—
include reference to or disclosure of convictions of the person mentioned in the Criminal Law (Rehabilitation of Offenders) Act 1986 , section 6 ; and
if the person is, or has been, the subject of a control order or registered corresponding control order—
state the details of the order; or
be accompanied by a copy of the order; and
may include recommendations about the person.

(sec.142ZO-ssec.1) This section applies if the commissioner asks the police commissioner for a police information report about a person under section 142ZJ or 142ZN .
(sec.142ZO-ssec.2) The commissioner must give to the police commissioner particulars the commissioner considers relevant to the request.
(sec.142ZO-ssec.3) On receiving the request, the police commissioner must— make inquiries about the person’s criminal history, including whether the person is, or has been, the subject of a control order or registered corresponding control order; make other inquiries about the person as the police commissioner considers appropriate.
(sec.142ZO-ssec.4) The police commissioner must make a report about the person (a police information report ) to the commissioner after receiving the responses to the inquiries.
(sec.142ZO-ssec.5) The police information report— must— include reference to or disclosure of convictions of the person mentioned in the Criminal Law (Rehabilitation of Offenders) Act 1986 , section 6 ; and if the person is, or has been, the subject of a control order or registered corresponding control order— state the details of the order; or be accompanied by a copy of the order; and may include recommendations about the person.
