### sec.139C Show cause notice for withdrawal of approval
This section applies if, having regard to the relevant matters, the commissioner reasonably believes the lessee, sublessee, franchisee or manager under the relevant agreement—
is a disqualified person; or
is not, or is no longer, a fit and proper person to lease, sublease, franchise or manage the licensed premises.
The commissioner must give the licensee and the lessee, sublessee, franchisee or manager a written notice that—
states the commissioner proposes to withdraw the commissioner’s approval of the agreement; and
states the grounds for the proposed withdrawal; and
invites the licensee, lessee, sublessee, franchisee or manager to show within a stated period, not less than 14 days after the notice is given to the person, why the approval should not be withdrawn.
In this section—
relevant matters means the matters mentioned in section 107 to which the commissioner must have regard in deciding whether an applicant is not a disqualified person and is a fit and proper person to hold a licence.

(sec.139C-ssec.1) This section applies if, having regard to the relevant matters, the commissioner reasonably believes the lessee, sublessee, franchisee or manager under the relevant agreement— is a disqualified person; or is not, or is no longer, a fit and proper person to lease, sublease, franchise or manage the licensed premises.
(sec.139C-ssec.2) The commissioner must give the licensee and the lessee, sublessee, franchisee or manager a written notice that— states the commissioner proposes to withdraw the commissioner’s approval of the agreement; and states the grounds for the proposed withdrawal; and invites the licensee, lessee, sublessee, franchisee or manager to show within a stated period, not less than 14 days after the notice is given to the person, why the approval should not be withdrawn.
(sec.139C-ssec.3) In this section— relevant matters means the matters mentioned in section 107 to which the commissioner must have regard in deciding whether an applicant is not a disqualified person and is a fit and proper person to hold a licence.
- (a) is a disqualified person; or
- (b) is not, or is no longer, a fit and proper person to lease, sublease, franchise or manage the licensed premises.

- (b) states the grounds for the proposed withdrawal; and
- (c) invites the licensee, lessee, sublessee, franchisee or manager to show within a stated period, not less than 14 days after the notice is given to the person, why the approval should not be withdrawn.
