### sec.124 Effect of staged development approval
A staged development approval in relation to an application for a licence authorises the applicant to sell and supply liquor as if—
the approval were the licence the subject of the application; and
the part of the premises stated in the approval in which the applicant is authorised to operate the business the subject of the application were licensed premises; and
the applicant were the licensee.
If, while a staged development approval is in force, the holder of the approval produces the evidence stated in the staged development approval, the commissioner must grant the appropriate licence.

(sec.124-ssec.1) A staged development approval in relation to an application for a licence authorises the applicant to sell and supply liquor as if— the approval were the licence the subject of the application; and the part of the premises stated in the approval in which the applicant is authorised to operate the business the subject of the application were licensed premises; and the applicant were the licensee.
(sec.124-ssec.2) If, while a staged development approval is in force, the holder of the approval produces the evidence stated in the staged development approval, the commissioner must grant the appropriate licence.
