### sec.107A Additional restriction on grant of licence
This section applies to an application for a licence made by an individual.
The commissioner may grant the application only if the individual has, within 3 years before the day the application is granted, successfully completed the licensee’s course.
Despite subsection (2) , the commissioner may grant the application if the commissioner is satisfied the individual need not undertake the licensee’s course, having regard to the principal activity, and the nature and extent, of the business conducted, or to be conducted, under the licence.
In this section—
individual does not include an individual who is applying for the licence in the capacity of chief executive of a department.
