### sec.6 Application to Crown
Subject to subsections (3) and (4) , this Act binds the Crown and the Crown has the benefit of this Act.
For the purposes of this Act, an action by or against the Crown includes an action by or against an officer of the Crown as such or a person acting on behalf of the Crown.
This Act does not apply to—
a prosecution by the Crown for an offence against any Act; or
an action by the Crown—
for the recovery of a fee, tax, duty or other sum of money or interest on a fee, tax, duty or other sum of money; or
in respect of the forfeiture of a ship.
Notwithstanding any law or enactment now or heretofore in force in the State, the right, title or interest of the Crown to or in any land shall not be and shall be deemed not to have been in any way affected by reason of any possession of such land adverse to the Crown for any period whatever.

- (a) a prosecution by the Crown for an offence against any Act; or
- (b) an action by the Crown— (i) for the recovery of a fee, tax, duty or other sum of money or interest on a fee, tax, duty or other sum of money; or (ii) in respect of the forfeiture of a ship.
- (i) for the recovery of a fee, tax, duty or other sum of money or interest on a fee, tax, duty or other sum of money; or
- (ii) in respect of the forfeiture of a ship.
- (i) for the recovery of a fee, tax, duty or other sum of money or interest on a fee, tax, duty or other sum of money; or
- (ii) in respect of the forfeiture of a ship.
