### sec.50 Transitional provision for Defamation (Model Provisions) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2021
The amendment made to section 10AA by the Defamation (Model Provisions) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2021 applies in relation to the publication of defamatory matter after the commencement of the amendment.
Section 10AB, as inserted by the Defamation (Model Provisions) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2021 , applies in relation to the publication of defamatory matter after the commencement of the section, subject to subsection (3).
Section 10AB extends to a first publication before the commencement of the section, but only in respect of subsequent publications after the commencement.
Section 32A, as amended by the Defamation (Model Provisions) and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2021 , applies in relation to the publication of defamatory matter after the commencement of the section.
