18B Non-compellability of certain witnesses
> Section 468(1) of the [Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW)](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2014-16a) does not apply to proceedings (including proceedings for an offence), hearings or inquiries under—

> > (a) the [Royal Commissions Act 1923](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1923-029), or
>
> > (b) the [Special Commissions of Inquiry Act 1983](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1983-090), or
>
> > (c) the [Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1988-035), or
>
> > (d) the [Law Enforcement Conduct Commission Act 2016](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2016-061), or
>
> > (e) the [Ombudsman Act 1974](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1974-068).
