### sec.49 Period for keeping direction for deposit of controlled money— Act , s 251 For section 251 (5) of the Act , the prescribed period in relation to a written direction is the period— beginning when the law practice receives the written direction; and ending 7 years after finalisation of the matter to which the direction relates. - (a) beginning when the law practice receives the written direction; and - (b) ending 7 years after finalisation of the matter to which the direction relates.
