### sec.4 Prescribed home jurisdiction criteria— Act , s 8 For section 8 (3) (b) (iii) of the Act , the following criteria are prescribed in relation to an associate of a law practice— the jurisdiction of the associate’s place of residence in Australia; if the associate does not have a place of residence in Australia, the jurisdiction of the associate’s last place of residence in Australia. - (a) the jurisdiction of the associate’s place of residence in Australia; - (b) if the associate does not have a place of residence in Australia, the jurisdiction of the associate’s last place of residence in Australia.
