### sec.17 Application of pt 3.6 of the Act to particular locally registered foreign lawyers— Act , s 176 For section 176 of the Act , this section states how particular provisions of part 3.6 of the Act apply to a locally registered foreign lawyer practising foreign law in this jurisdiction as an associate of a law practice. Section 368 of the Act applies to the foreign lawyer as if a reference in that section to a local practising certificate were a reference to a local registration certificate within the meaning of section 163 of the Act . Section 369 of the Act applies to the foreign lawyer as if a reference in that section to a local legal practitioner were a reference to a locally registered foreign lawyer. (sec.17-ssec.1) For section 176 of the Act , this section states how particular provisions of part 3.6 of the Act apply to a locally registered foreign lawyer practising foreign law in this jurisdiction as an associate of a law practice.
