### sec.784 Application of s 9(1) and additional obligation to disclose suitability matter
This section applies if, before the commencement, a person had applied to a regulatory authority for the grant or renewal of a local practising certificate under section 49 and the regulatory authority had not decided the application under section 51.
Section 9(1)(c), as in force after the commencement ( new section 9(1)(c) ), applies to the person for the application.
If the person is or has been a legal practitioner director of an incorporated legal practice as mentioned in new section 9(1)(c), the person must, within 7 days after the day of commencement, give the regulatory authority a notice about that fact.
