### sec.675 Delegation
The board may delegate financial powers under this Act to—
the chairperson; or
a person appointed to or otherwise holding the position referred to by the law society as chief executive of the law society.
A delegation may be for the expenditure of a reasonable amount of not more than the amount fixed by the board in the delegation or for a purpose decided by the board and stated in the delegation.
In this section—
financial powers means day-to-day expenditure and financial activities.
(sec.675-ssec.1) The board may delegate financial powers under this Act to— the chairperson; or a person appointed to or otherwise holding the position referred to by the law society as chief executive of the law society.
(sec.675-ssec.2) A delegation may be for the expenditure of a reasonable amount of not more than the amount fixed by the board in the delegation or for a purpose decided by the board and stated in the delegation.
(sec.675-ssec.3) In this section— financial powers means day-to-day expenditure and financial activities.
- (a) the chairperson; or
- (b) a person appointed to or otherwise holding the position referred to by the law society as chief executive of the law society.
