### sec.642 Protection of members etc.
A committee member has, in the performance of the member’s duties as a member of the committee hearing and deciding a discipline application, the same protection and immunity as a Supreme Court judge carrying out the functions of a judge.
A person representing a person before the committee has the same protection and immunity as an Australian legal practitioner appearing for a party in a proceeding in the Supreme Court.
A person appearing before the committee as a witness has the same protection as a witness in a proceeding in the Supreme Court.
A document produced at, or used for, a hearing of the committee has the same protection it would have if produced before the Supreme Court.
