### sec.573 Power to hold hearings
An ILP investigator may hold hearings for the purposes of audit or investigation to which this part applies or an examination under section 571 .
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cwlth) , sections 52 , 56 (1) , 58 , 59 (1) , (2) , (5) , (6) and (8) and 60 ( paragraph (b) excepted) apply in relation to a hearing with any necessary changes, including the following changes—
a reference to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (however expressed) is taken to be a reference to an ILP investigator;
a reference to a member or staff member is taken to be a reference to an ILP investigator, or a person authorised by an ILP investigator who is an officer or employee of the ILP investigator;
a reference to a prescribed form is taken to be a reference to a form approved by the commissioner.
