### sec.54 Applications relating to conditions
This section applies if a regulatory authority imposes a condition on a practising certificate, other than a condition applying in relation to a practising certificate under the authority’s legal profession rules or administration rules.
If the applicant did not apply for a practising certificate to be subject to the condition—
the regulatory authority must give the applicant an information notice about the decision to impose the condition; and
the applicant may apply, as provided under the QCAT Act , to the tribunal for a review of the decision to impose the condition.
The regulatory authority may revoke a condition imposed on a practising certificate, on application of the certificate holder in the approved form or on its own initiative, by giving written notice about the revocation to the certificate holder.
If a certificate holder applies for the revocation of a condition and the relevant regulatory authority refuses to grant the application—
the authority must give the applicant an information notice about the decision refusing the application; and
the applicant may, within 28 days after the information notice is given to the applicant, apply, as provided under the QCAT Act , to the tribunal for a review of the decision to impose the condition.
