### sec.509 Records and accounts of law practice under management
The manager for a law practice must keep records and accounts relating to the management of the practice—
separately from the management of the affairs of the law practice before the manager’s appointment; and
separately from the affairs of another law practice that the manager is managing; and
in the way prescribed under a regulation.
Subject to subsection (1) , the manager for a law practice must deal with trust money of the practice in the same way as a law practice must deal with trust money.
(sec.509-ssec.1) The manager for a law practice must keep records and accounts relating to the management of the practice— separately from the management of the affairs of the law practice before the manager’s appointment; and separately from the affairs of another law practice that the manager is managing; and in the way prescribed under a regulation.
(sec.509-ssec.2) Subject to subsection (1) , the manager for a law practice must deal with trust money of the practice in the same way as a law practice must deal with trust money.
- (a) separately from the management of the affairs of the law practice before the manager’s appointment; and
- (b) separately from the affairs of another law practice that the manager is managing; and
- (c) in the way prescribed under a regulation.
