### sec.506 Notice of appointment
After an appointment of a manager for a law practice is made, the law society must give a notice of the appointment to—
the practice; and
any other person authorised to operate any trust account of the practice; and
any external examiner appointed to examine the practice’s trust records; and
the ADI with which any trust account of the practice is kept; and
any person whom the law society believes should be given the notice.
The notice must—
identify the law practice and the manager; and
indicate that the external intervention is by way of appointment of a manager; and
state the term of the appointment; and
state any reporting requirements to be observed by the manager; and
state any conditions imposed by the law society when the appointment is made; and
include a statement that the law practice may appeal against the appointment of the manager under section 531 ; and
contain or be accompanied by other information or material prescribed under a regulation.
