### sec.500 Notice of appointment
After appointment of a supervisor of trust money of a law practice is made, the law society must give a notice of appointment to each of the following—
the practice;
any other persons authorised to operate a trust account of the practice;
any external examiner appointed to examine the practice’s trust records;
the ADI with which any trust account of the practice is kept;
any person whom the law society believes should be given a notice.
The notice must—
identify the law practice and the supervisor; and
indicate that the external intervention is by way of appointment of a supervisor of trust money; and
state the term of the appointment; and
state any reporting requirements to be observed by the supervisor; and
state any conditions imposed by the law society when the appointment is made; and
include a statement that the law practice may appeal against the appointment of the supervisor under section 531 ; and
contain or be accompanied by other information or material prescribed under a regulation.
