### sec.50 Manner of application
An application for the grant or renewal of a local practising certificate must be—
made in the approved form of the relevant regulatory authority; and
made in the way provided for under the administration rules of the relevant regulatory authority; and
for an application for renewal—made within the period stated in the administration rules of the relevant regulatory authority.
The approved form may require the applicant to disclose matters that may affect the applicant’s eligibility for the grant or renewal of a local practising certificate or the question whether the applicant is a fit and proper person to hold a local practising certificate.
The approved form may indicate that particular kinds of matters previously disclosed in a particular way need not be disclosed for the purposes of the current application.
(sec.50-ssec.1) An application for the grant or renewal of a local practising certificate must be— made in the approved form of the relevant regulatory authority; and made in the way provided for under the administration rules of the relevant regulatory authority; and for an application for renewal—made within the period stated in the administration rules of the relevant regulatory authority.
