### sec.479 Request to another jurisdiction to investigate complaint or investigation matter
The commissioner may request a corresponding authority to arrange for the investigation of an aspect of a complaint or an investigation matter that is being dealt with by the commissioner and to give the commissioner a report on the result of the investigation.
A report on the result of the investigation received from—
the corresponding authority; or
a person or body authorised by the corresponding authority to conduct the investigation;
may be used and considered by the commissioner and a disciplinary body in the course of dealing with a discipline application under this chapter.
(sec.479-ssec.1) The commissioner may request a corresponding authority to arrange for the investigation of an aspect of a complaint or an investigation matter that is being dealt with by the commissioner and to give the commissioner a report on the result of the investigation.
(sec.479-ssec.2) A report on the result of the investigation received from— the corresponding authority; or a person or body authorised by the corresponding authority to conduct the investigation; may be used and considered by the commissioner and a disciplinary body in the course of dealing with a discipline application under this chapter.
- (a) the corresponding authority; or
- (b) a person or body authorised by the corresponding authority to conduct the investigation;
