### sec.451 Duty to inform complainant about action taken for complaint
The commissioner must keep a complainant informed about the way the complaint is dealt with.
Without limiting subsection (1) , the commissioner must give the complainant—
notice of the receipt of the complaint by the commissioner; and
a copy of any discipline application made because of the complaint; and
written notice of the date set down for starting the hearing for the discipline application; and
written notice of a decision of a disciplinary body relating to the complaint.
This section is subject to sections 650 and 656D .

(sec.451-ssec.1) The commissioner must keep a complainant informed about the way the complaint is dealt with.
