### sec.438 Submissions by respondent A respondent given a notice under section 437 may, by the date stated in that notice, make written submissions to the commissioner or the stated relevant regulatory authority about the complaint or investigation matter. At the request of the respondent or the regulatory authority, the commissioner may substitute a later date by which submissions may be made.
