### sec.425 Chapter also applies to law practice employees
This chapter applies to the conduct of a law practice employee in relation to the relevant practice whether or not—
the conduct is part of a course of conduct that happened partly in this jurisdiction and partly in another jurisdiction; or
the conduct was engaged in before or after the commencement of this section.
Also, this chapter applies to former law practice employees in relation to conduct happening while they were law practice employees in the same way as it applies to persons who are law practice employees, and so applies with necessary changes.
In this section—
former law practice employee includes a person who was a law practice employee in this jurisdiction before the commencement of this section but is not a law practice employee on the commencement.
(sec.425-ssec.1) This chapter applies to the conduct of a law practice employee in relation to the relevant practice whether or not— the conduct is part of a course of conduct that happened partly in this jurisdiction and partly in another jurisdiction; or the conduct was engaged in before or after the commencement of this section.
(sec.425-ssec.2) Also, this chapter applies to former law practice employees in relation to conduct happening while they were law practice employees in the same way as it applies to persons who are law practice employees, and so applies with necessary changes.
(sec.425-ssec.3) In this section— former law practice employee includes a person who was a law practice employee in this jurisdiction before the commencement of this section but is not a law practice employee on the commencement.
- (a) the conduct is part of a course of conduct that happened partly in this jurisdiction and partly in another jurisdiction; or
- (b) the conduct was engaged in before or after the commencement of this section.
