### sec.38 Local lawyer is officer of Supreme Court
A person becomes an officer of the Supreme Court on being admitted to the legal profession under this Act.
A person who immediately before the commencement of this section was an officer of the Supreme Court, because of the person’s admission as a barrister, solicitor or legal practitioner continues to be an officer of the court.
A person ceases to be an officer of the Supreme Court under this section if the person’s name is removed from the local roll.
(sec.38-ssec.1) A person becomes an officer of the Supreme Court on being admitted to the legal profession under this Act.
(sec.38-ssec.2) A person who immediately before the commencement of this section was an officer of the Supreme Court, because of the person’s admission as a barrister, solicitor or legal practitioner continues to be an officer of the court.
