### sec.349 Imputed acts, omission or knowledge
For this part—
anything done or omitted by, to or in relation to—
an Australian legal practitioner; or
an Australian-registered foreign lawyer, except for the purposes of section 324 (4) or for the purposes of any provision of this part prescribed under a regulation;
in the course of acting on behalf of a law practice is taken to have been done or omitted by, to or in relation to the law practice; and
without limiting paragraph (a) , the law practice is taken to become or be aware of, or to have a belief as to, any matter if—
an Australian legal practitioner; or
an Australian-registered foreign lawyer (except for the purposes of section 324 (4) or for the purposes of any provision of this part prescribed under a regulation);
becomes or is aware of, or has a belief as to, the matter in the course of acting on behalf of the law practice.
- (a) anything done or omitted by, to or in relation to— (i) an Australian legal practitioner; or (ii) an Australian-registered foreign lawyer, except for the purposes of section 324 (4) or for the purposes of any provision of this part prescribed under a regulation; in the course of acting on behalf of a law practice is taken to have been done or omitted by, to or in relation to the law practice; and
- (i) an Australian legal practitioner; or
- (ii) an Australian-registered foreign lawyer, except for the purposes of section 324 (4) or for the purposes of any provision of this part prescribed under a regulation;
- (b) without limiting paragraph (a) , the law practice is taken to become or be aware of, or to have a belief as to, any matter if— (i) an Australian legal practitioner; or (ii) an Australian-registered foreign lawyer (except for the purposes of section 324 (4) or for the purposes of any provision of this part prescribed under a regulation); becomes or is aware of, or has a belief as to, the matter in the course of acting on behalf of the law practice.
- (i) an Australian legal practitioner; or
- (ii) an Australian-registered foreign lawyer (except for the purposes of section 324 (4) or for the purposes of any provision of this part prescribed under a regulation);
- (i) an Australian legal practitioner; or
- (ii) an Australian-registered foreign lawyer, except for the purposes of section 324 (4) or for the purposes of any provision of this part prescribed under a regulation;
- (i) an Australian legal practitioner; or
- (ii) an Australian-registered foreign lawyer (except for the purposes of section 324 (4) or for the purposes of any provision of this part prescribed under a regulation);
