### sec.246 Barristers not to receive trust money
A barrister is not, in the course of practising as a barrister, to receive trust money.
Subsection (1) does not—
prevent a barrister receiving money in payment of legal services that the barrister has performed; and
limit the bar association’s power to make legal profession rules in relation to banking arrangements for fees received in advance by a barrister.
(sec.246-ssec.1) A barrister is not, in the course of practising as a barrister, to receive trust money.
