### sec.23 Part does not apply to a person if authorised under a Commonwealth law or a government legal officer
This part does not apply to—
a person authorised to engage in legal practice under a law of the Commonwealth; or
a government legal officer engaged in government work.
However, subsection (1) does not prevent this part applying to a person only because the person has been enrolled as a barrister or solicitor, as a barrister and solicitor or as a legal practitioner, of the High Court of Australia.
(sec.23-ssec.1) This part does not apply to— a person authorised to engage in legal practice under a law of the Commonwealth; or a government legal officer engaged in government work.
(sec.23-ssec.2) However, subsection (1) does not prevent this part applying to a person only because the person has been enrolled as a barrister or solicitor, as a barrister and solicitor or as a legal practitioner, of the High Court of Australia.
- (a) a person authorised to engage in legal practice under a law of the Commonwealth; or
- (b) a government legal officer engaged in government work.
