### sec.222 Subject matter of legal profession rules
Legal profession rules may make provision about any aspect of legal practice, including standards of conduct expected of the following persons to whom they apply—
for solicitors rules—Australian legal practitioners, government legal officers and Australian-registered foreign lawyers;
for barristers rules—Australian legal practitioners and government legal officers.
The power to make legal profession rules is not limited to matters for which this Act specifically authorises the making of legal profession rules or administration rules.
