### sec.16 Hearing and deciding particular action without a jury
This section applies if an action in relation to any description of civil liability arising out of the business of practising as an Australian legal practitioner is before a court and any person who may be made liable in that action is indemnified under a contract of insurance under a relevant law.
If, apart from this section, the action may be heard and decided by a jury in that court, the action must be heard and decided by a judge without a jury.
(sec.16-ssec.1) This section applies if an action in relation to any description of civil liability arising out of the business of practising as an Australian legal practitioner is before a court and any person who may be made liable in that action is indemnified under a contract of insurance under a relevant law.
(sec.16-ssec.2) If, apart from this section, the action may be heard and decided by a jury in that court, the action must be heard and decided by a judge without a jury.
