### sec.156 Sharing of receipts, revenue or other income Nothing under this Act prevents a legal practitioner partner of a multi-disciplinary partnership, or an Australian legal practitioner who is an employee of a multi-disciplinary partnership, from sharing with a partner of the partnership who is not an Australian legal practitioner, receipts, revenue or other income arising from the provision of legal services by the partner or practitioner. This section does not extend to the sharing of receipts, revenue or other income in contravention of section 157 , and has effect subject to section 220 . (sec.156-ssec.1) Nothing under this Act prevents a legal practitioner partner of a multi-disciplinary partnership, or an Australian legal practitioner who is an employee of a multi-disciplinary partnership, from sharing with a partner of the partnership who is not an Australian legal practitioner, receipts, revenue or other income arising from the provision of legal services by the partner or practitioner. (sec.156-ssec.2) This section does not extend to the sharing of receipts, revenue or other income in contravention of section 157 , and has effect subject to section 220 .
