### sec.110 Definitions for pt 2.7
In this part—
corporation means—
a company within the meaning of the Corporations Act ; or
a body corporate prescribed under a regulation.
director means—
in relation to a company within the meaning of the Corporations Act —a director as defined in section 9 of that Act; or
in relation to another body corporate prescribed under a regulation—a person stated or described in the regulation as a director.
legal practitioner director means a director of an incorporated legal practice who is an Australian legal practitioner holding a practising certificate entitling the practitioner to practise as a principal of a law practice.
legal practitioner partner means a partner of a multi-disciplinary partnership who is an Australian legal practitioner holding a practising certificate entitling the practitioner to practise as a principal of a law practice.
officer means—
in relation to a company within the meaning of the Corporations Act —an officer as defined in section 9 of that Act; or
in relation to any other body corporate, or a body corporate of a kind, prescribed under a regulation—a person stated or described in the regulation.
professional obligations , of an Australian legal practitioner, include—
duties to the Supreme Court; and
obligations in connection with conflicts of interest; and
duties to clients, including disclosure; and
ethical rules the legal practitioner must observe.

- (a) a company within the meaning of the Corporations Act ; or
- (b) a body corporate prescribed under a regulation.
- (a) in relation to a company within the meaning of the Corporations Act —a director as defined in section 9 of that Act; or
- (b) in relation to another body corporate prescribed under a regulation—a person stated or described in the regulation as a director.
