### sec.54 Guidelines for making separation declaration
The valuer-general may make guidelines about the circumstances in which the valuer-general will make a separation declaration.
The guidelines—
must be consistent with section 53 ; and
are not subordinate legislation.
In deciding whether to make a separation declaration, the valuer-general may consider, but is not bound by, the guidelines.
The valuer-general must keep a copy of the guidelines, as in force from time to time, on the department’s website.
(sec.54-ssec.1) The valuer-general may make guidelines about the circumstances in which the valuer-general will make a separation declaration.
(sec.54-ssec.2) The guidelines— must be consistent with section 53 ; and are not subordinate legislation.
(sec.54-ssec.3) In deciding whether to make a separation declaration, the valuer-general may consider, but is not bound by, the guidelines.
(sec.54-ssec.4) The valuer-general must keep a copy of the guidelines, as in force from time to time, on the department’s website.
