### sec.286 Migration of performed functions to valuer-general
This section applies to a function previously performed by the chief executive under a former provision any time before the commencement.
The function is taken to have been performed at the same time by the valuer-general, under the corresponding new provision.
In this section—
function means any of the following under the repealed Valuation Act—
making a valuation, decision, direction, instrument, invitation or requirement;
giving an authorisation or notice;
receiving a notice or objection;
attending an objection conference;
forming an opinion;
doing an act;
omitting to do something;
delegating a power under former section 12;
giving an authorisation under former section 36;
advertising;
entering into a contract mentioned in former section 77;
certifying under former section 96;
making an approved form.
(sec.286-ssec.1) This section applies to a function previously performed by the chief executive under a former provision any time before the commencement.
(sec.286-ssec.2) The function is taken to have been performed at the same time by the valuer-general, under the corresponding new provision.
(sec.286-ssec.3) In this section— function means any of the following under the repealed Valuation Act— making a valuation, decision, direction, instrument, invitation or requirement; giving an authorisation or notice; receiving a notice or objection; attending an objection conference; forming an opinion; doing an act; omitting to do something; delegating a power under former section 12; giving an authorisation under former section 36; advertising; entering into a contract mentioned in former section 77; certifying under former section 96; making an approved form.
- (a) making a valuation, decision, direction, instrument, invitation or requirement;
- (b) giving an authorisation or notice;
- (c) receiving a notice or objection;
- (d) attending an objection conference;
- (e) forming an opinion;
- (f) doing an act;
- (g) omitting to do something;
- (h) delegating a power under former section 12;
- (i) giving an authorisation under former section 36;
- (j) advertising;
- (k) entering into a contract mentioned in former section 77;
- (l) certifying under former section 96;
- (m) making an approved form.
