### sec.258 Recording of site improvement deduction in land register
This section applies if an owner of land is granted a site improvement deduction for the land.
The valuer-general may give the land registrar a notice asking the land registrar to keep a record that—
a site improvement deduction applies to the land; and
if ownership of the land changes, its value will change because site improvement deductions can no longer be deducted from its value.
On receiving the notice, the land registrar must keep the record so that a search of a register kept by the land registrar will show the record.
No fee is payable for the recording of anything under subsection (3) .
(sec.258-ssec.1) This section applies if an owner of land is granted a site improvement deduction for the land.
