### sec.246 Requirement to fix defective ownership change notice
This section applies if—
a person has given, or purported to give, the valuer-general an ownership change notice; and
the valuer-general considers the notice is wrong, incomplete or defective (the defect ).
The valuer-general may require the person to fix the defect within a stated reasonable period.
The requirement must state what the defect is.
The person must comply with the requirement.
Maximum penalty for subsection (4) —50 penalty units.
(sec.246-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person has given, or purported to give, the valuer-general an ownership change notice; and the valuer-general considers the notice is wrong, incomplete or defective (the defect ).
(sec.246-ssec.2) The valuer-general may require the person to fix the defect within a stated reasonable period.
