### sec.197 Appeal right
An applicant for a suppression direction may appeal against the valuer-general’s decision to refuse to make the direction.
Also, a person who was a protected person may appeal against the valuer-general’s decision to cancel the direction.
The appeal may be made to the Magistrates Court nearest the place where the applicant or person resides.
