### 60ZN Period in which assessment criteria to be determined

> > (1) In this section –
> >
> > > ***relevant period***, in relation to a major project, means the period –
> > >
> > > > > (a) beginning on the day on which the period specified in the notice given under [section 60ZL(1)(a)](#GS60ZL@Gs1@Hpa@EN) in relation to the major project expires; and

> > > > > (b) ending 28 days, or a longer period allowed by the Minister, after that day.

> > (2) [*\[Section 60ZN Subsection (2) amended by No. 33 of 2022, s. 18, Applied:17 May 2023\]*](/view/html/inforce/2023-05-17/act-2022-033#GS18@EN) The Panel must determine under [section 60ZM(1)](#GS60ZM@Gs1@EN) the assessment criteria in relation to a major project before the end of the relevant period in relation to the major project or, if the Panel considers it necessary to obtain further information from a regulator in relation to the regulator’s notice of assessment requirements or alteration notice, within the period of 42 days after the period begins.

> > (3) Despite [subsection (2)](#GS60ZN@Gs2@EN) , if the Panel gives a warning notice under [section 60ZE(1)](#GS60ZE@Gs1@EN) in relation to a major project before the end of the relevant period in relation to a major project, any period that –

> > > > (a) begins on the day on which the warning notice is given; and

> > > > (b) ends on the last day on which the Panel may, in accordance with [section 60ZI(2)(c)](#GS60ZI@Gs2@Hpc@EN) , give a no reasonable prospect notice in relation to the major project under [section 60ZI](#GS60ZI@EN) –
