### sec.97S Amending interest A carbon abatement interest may be amended by registering an instrument of amendment of the carbon abatement interest. However, the amendment can not— increase or decrease the area of land the subject of the interest; or add or remove a party to the interest. s 97S ins 2011 No. 31 s 335 (sec.97S-ssec.1) A carbon abatement interest may be amended by registering an instrument of amendment of the carbon abatement interest. (sec.97S-ssec.2) However, the amendment can not— increase or decrease the area of land the subject of the interest; or add or remove a party to the interest. - (a) increase or decrease the area of land the subject of the interest; or - (b) add or remove a party to the interest.
