### sec.97P Requirements for registration
The registrar may register an instrument creating a carbon abatement interest for a lot only if—
the proposed grantor of the interest is the registered owner of the lot; and
the registrar is satisfied the registered owner is the holder of the right to deal with the carbon abatement product for the lot; and
all holders of a registered interest in the land whose interest may be affected by the proposed carbon abatement interest consent to the proposed grant; and
there are no existing carbon abatement interests registered for the part of the lot to which the proposed carbon abatement interest relates.

- (a) the proposed grantor of the interest is the registered owner of the lot; and
