### sec.196 References in instruments to a person with an interest in a lot includes personal representatives etc. In an instrument made or executed under this Act, a reference to a person as proprietor, transferor, transferee, mortgagor, mortgagee, lessor, lessee, trustee or as having an interest in a lot includes a reference to the person’s personal representatives, successors and assigns. The application of this section may be displaced, wholly or partly, by a contrary intention appearing in the instrument.
