### sec.193 Protection from liability This section applies to the registrar and public service employees of the department performing a function or carrying out a duty under this Act. See the Queensland Future Fund (Titles Registry) Act 2021 , section 45 in relation to protection from liability for employees of the titles registry operator. A person to whom this section applies is not civilly liable for an act or omission done honestly and without negligence under this Act. If subsection (2) prevents civil liability attaching to a person, the liability attaches instead to the State. s 193 amd 2021 No. 12 s 107 (sec.193-ssec.1) This section applies to the registrar and public service employees of the department performing a function or carrying out a duty under this Act.
