### sec.117 Effect of registering a writ of execution
For purchasers, lessees, mortgagees and creditors, a writ of execution—
can not, until registered, bind or affect registered lots, whether or not there is actual or constructive notice of the writ; and
binds or affects registered lots only if the writ is executed and put in force within—
6 months of its lodgement; or
the extended time allowed by the court where the writ is filed and notified to the registrar.
- (a) can not, until registered, bind or affect registered lots, whether or not there is actual or constructive notice of the writ; and
- (b) binds or affects registered lots only if the writ is executed and put in force within— (i) 6 months of its lodgement; or (ii) the extended time allowed by the court where the writ is filed and notified to the registrar.
