### sec.12A Land Court may make declarations
Any person may bring proceedings in the Land Court for a declaration about—
a matter done, to be done, or that should have been done under this Act or another Act giving jurisdiction to the court; and
the construction of any legislation for the purpose of proceedings in which the court has exclusive jurisdiction.
The proceeding may be brought on behalf of a person.
If the proceeding is brought on behalf of a person, the person must consent or if the person is an unincorporated body, its committee or other controlling or governing body must consent.
A person on whose behalf a proceeding is brought may contribute to, or pay, the legal costs incurred by the person bringing the proceeding.
The court has jurisdiction to hear and decide a proceeding for a declaration about a matter mentioned in subsection (1) .
Despite subsection (1) , a proceeding can not be brought in the Land Court for a declaration about whether or not a document that purports to be an objection under the Land Valuation Act 2010 is a properly made objection under that Act.

(sec.12A-ssec.2) The proceeding may be brought on behalf of a person.
(sec.12A-ssec.3) If the proceeding is brought on behalf of a person, the person must consent or if the person is an unincorporated body, its committee or other controlling or governing body must consent.
(sec.12A-ssec.4) A person on whose behalf a proceeding is brought may contribute to, or pay, the legal costs incurred by the person bringing the proceeding.
(sec.12A-ssec.5) The court has jurisdiction to hear and decide a proceeding for a declaration about a matter mentioned in subsection (1) .
(sec.12A-ssec.6) Despite subsection (1) , a proceeding can not be brought in the Land Court for a declaration about whether or not a document that purports to be an objection under the Land Valuation Act 2010 is a properly made objection under that Act.
