### sec.509 Registration of documents lodged before commencement
The chief executive may register a document after the commencement, if—
the document was lodged, but not registered, before the commencement; and
the registrar of titles had power to register the document when it was lodged.
In registering a document under subsection (1), the chief executive must exercise the powers the registrar of titles had when the document was lodged.
