### sec.491 Conditions and reservations still applying
An existing conditional deed continues to be subject to the following provisions—
the land must continue to be used for the public purpose for which it was granted;
the land must not be leased, mortgaged or sold without the Governor in Council’s approval;
the term of a lease must not be longer than 14 years with a covenant for renewal for up to a further 7 years;
the lease must be consistent with the purpose for which it was granted.
