### sec.46 Trustee’s administrative functions
A trustee’s functions are to—
manage the trust land in a way that is consistent with achieving the purpose for which the land is dedicated as a reserve or granted in trust; and
However, see also sections 52AA , 52AB , 57 , 60 and 64 for the power of a trustee to do things that are inconsistent with the purpose for which trust land is dedicated as a reserve or granted in trust.
fulfil the trust within their conditions of appointment (if any); and
control noxious plants on the trust land; and
keep records required by the Minister or required under this and other Acts.
A trustee has the responsibility for a duty of care for the trust land.
Unless the Minister otherwise decides, a trustee’s functions include protecting and maintaining, so far as is reasonable, all improvements on the trust land.
The Minister may direct a trustee to erect signs on trust land indicating the land has been granted in trust or dedicated as a reserve.
The trustee must comply with the Minister’s direction.
