### sec.449 Existing reserves and purposes continue All existing reserves are taken to be reserves under this Act for the purpose for which they were reserved. Subsection (1) applies even if the purpose for which the land was reserved is not a community purpose under this Act. If, under subsection (1) , land is taken to be reserved for cemetery purposes, the land is taken also to be reserved for crematorium and mortuary purposes. s 449 amd 1997 No. 78 s 63 (sec.449-ssec.1) All existing reserves are taken to be reserves under this Act for the purpose for which they were reserved.
